Been reading through some of the Hawkes Bay related posts (newbie), man there's some great info and advice! Just wondering if the range on HW 50 near Hastings is public and if so how how one might be able to access?

If you mean the one in the Winstone Aggregates quarry, go ask at Rivers to Ranges. As for the other one out Maraekakaho I think thats an HB Sporting Shooters range.
