All that country is choked by spaniard leading into the gully's, it's got no enemies in low animal density or when they get to the size they are! Good effort tho MD, 10 for trying.

Just an additional comment.
I certainly wouldn't suggest hunting that type of country. Lots of effort and little if any enjoyment.
Thing is that you start off and its pretty good going. Then you think well its not to bad so I'll keep going but then it slowly starts to turn to shit. By then you've put in a fair effort and rather than look elsewhere you figure I'll just keep pushing through.
The length of time you do this for depends on your pain barrier, whether you're a mad bastard or not, and what animals are about.
Attachment 280333 that block some years ago, took the wrong way out in the dark.
Just the other day MD found a real old photo of me on the easement into that place (I think?) I must have been about 16 or 17 as have my old Mossberg 270 (complete with baling twine sling) on my back which was one of my first rifles

Good yarn Milky, bugger about the meat but any day on the hill is a good day  Which block is that, it looks a bit like the Chetwynd but I'm picking it's elsewhere?
Spaniard/speargrass, whole face we climbed across was covered in it. Not swollen just the angle of the photo.
We get a lot of blackberry. I learnt early on, stay out of that sh1t. Secateurs help tho.
Spinifex in desert areas, but very easy to avoid it ok. Thats really bad sh1t.

QLD has a few others like "wait a while" and bogunvilea. But I don't hunt up that way.
