    Roaring in the Tararuas

    I've just been cruising through farcebook and spotted a post by Heliworx, a bunch of photos they say were taken last week in the Tararuas. Two of the pics showed stags roaring.
    I'm thinking it's too early for mature stags to be roaring. One is a pic of a 12 pointer.

    What do you guys think?

    That was my thoughts.
    I looked through the whole series of photos claimed to be taken last week. One was a group of deer, two stags with very short velvet. Then the next photo was a roaring stag in hard antler. Definitely BS.
