Happy the real point that you should be considering when you purchase a rifle is how you feel about it. Personal factors like whether it comes up well to your eye and the balance feels right are far more important in my opinion than the make, calibre and scope. Even if you found a no name rifle in a mid range calibre with a crap scope that fitted you really well, it would clean kill deer at the ranges you are talking about. None of us have exactly the same preferences and buying a rifle (much like buying a car) comes down to a lot more about budget and personal "wow" factors
