    Shes my hero

My 9yo really earned this one. She has been studying up on deer anatomy and has showed awesome discipline behind the trigger.

After sitting patently behind the rifle on a red at 95 yards for over 5 minutes while busting to go toilet it walked off without presenting a clean shot. She was stoked just to have watched the deer. Shortly after she was rewarded when we snuck up on a mob and she pulled off a perfect shot at 130 yards with the little red dot. @Wingman I believe this is one of your creations. Goes well thanks @Tommy for the loan. Big thanks to @Pongo12 for being the generous bloke he is!

That's a feeling that just can't get any better, watching your kids be successful like that. Wicked.

My cousin shot a couple of pigs when she was nine - thirty years ago. Fast forward to last year and her own ten year old son announces boastfully that he is going pig hunting with a school friend and the friends father. He just about collapsed deflated when his mum replied that she had actually shot a couple of pigs when she was nine and produced a photo to prove it.
We cant foretell the future, but perhaps this story will have a sequel in thirty years Gibo ?

Mate that is fantastic. Anyone can pull a trigger but teaching your young one the discipline of waiting for the right shot is where you (and her) have really succeeded.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

If she gets the bug give me a yell and I'll make a shorter LOP stock for her and a cheek rest.. she clearly gets better use out of it than @Tommy

I hope that your daughter enjoys cooking and can enjoy the satisfaction and pride from cooking some meals from her own deer for the family, perhaps a little young yet but a nice thought for the future

Well done. It's great if the kids share your interest.
What's the rifle/chassis setup? Looks light.
