    In Southland in Feb

    I'm going to be in Southland in February from the 17th to the 28th (give or take). Catching a ride down with a mate who's a trucker but from then onwards I'll be on foot or bus most probably. I'm doing the Kepler walk from the 20th-22nd so I'll be in Te Anau just before and after those dates but other than that I don't have any plans yet. I'll be by myself so I figured I'd come on here to see if I could meet up with a few fellow forum members, does anyone on here live down those parts or will be there over those dates? I'll be bringing my rifle with me and trying to spend some time hunting so if you're keen for a hunt and have the time, I'd be so keen. Or if you're short on time we could just have a beer.

    I'm an old bugger but happy to talk about a trip out to nearby public land (longwoods) one evening or suchlike.

    Down that way on the 12th and away on the 18th. If you want some tips on deer around the Kepler let me know.
