    Stag Chases man up tree

Bugger that, last year i had a Jap stag give me attitude about 100 yrds below Nimrods biv on the Comet, scary shit as it moved like the wind, and it diddnt worry about my scent at all. It circled me and i expected it to scream and leave, but it diddnt. i had to gap it out of the tight stuff back into the beech so i could safely identify my target, shot it in the head at about 6 yards as it steamed in.

By the way nimrod your swiss creme biscuits expired in 2000 and your condensed milk in 1998

Stroppy stags aren't much fun at all when you are up close and personal with them.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

5 or 6 years back i was carrieing a hind back to my vehicle and at the bottom of the last gut I dropped her and took my rifle and bumbag up to the lux and went back down to get her with just a headlamp as by now it was dark. Struggling up this last pinch with what must have been a in heat hind on my back I hear grunts circling me then a roar from about 20y away! My rifle and knife are at the top of the hill. I turn and look straight at him(with the head lamp) and while only little antlers they could certainly spear me!
I just kept on climbing the while this fella kept circling and grunting, eventually near the top I dropped her again and RAN to the truck to get the rifle and a decent torch but he must have worked out something was amiss when I dropped her and ran.
Mates give me shit saying i should have just bent over and he would have left once he had had his way!

This is straight up ,as I seen the damage to his truck . A Mate the roar just gone was driving into a spot for a hunt , two in the morning on a remote bush road on the coast . Got to a brow of hill and a stag is running towards them in the head lights . They had enough time to stop but the worked up red when head first into the front of his terano , breaking the head light and denting the bonnet and gaurd etc . Then legged it of into the bush , both driver and passenger where gob smacked ! And pissed about the damage ,but happy in the fact they where bang on the money for the roar .

VC you wouldn't want a stag stabbing away at your Jackie with its pizzle, but if you want to get your mates back then bring them up in March and together we can lock them in my crush and get one of my big boy stags in to do the honours.

Could use a little genetic modification myself Scribe an anti aging gene and anti obesity gene would come in useful round about now
