    Daughters first deer and a wee buck at that super proud dad moment she smoked it at 180yards with the rem mag

    Was daughter shooting the same load you used for the Red or did you have a reduced load just for her ? She looks quite young to be using a 7mm RM. Maybe Dad tutored her properly ?
    What bullet Danny ?
    Good stuff anyway. I approve of ladies getting into shooting / hunting.

    Same load, Sako 140gn blade (copper mono) the rem mag is a pussycat with the braked suppressor on it.
    Little miss (13 y/o) has been practicing with my suppressed 308win but in reality there is no difference recoil wise in both rifles, in fact I'd say the rem mag was slightly less recoil with with 140gn pills. Will qualify little miss has shot the rem mag at the range prior to this hunt and was comfortable shooting it.

    Late to the party this year but they are still roaring well in the tararuas.not a bad 12 bush battler but has a broken brow.pin pointed his location from a moan, stalked in saw hinds and hind called which worked well.he stuck his head through a gap and went to the light.

    Had a great week with the boy chasing sika in our Clements road spot, he shot is first one in there last roar and was keen to go one better. He definitely did that!! It was a awesome hunt and stocked for him, proud Dad moment, this year has been a cracker for my crew.Name:  IMG_20240415_125254_01.jpg
