Thread: staircase gully waimak

Anyone been up this area recently , thinking of boating up in the next week or too beaching the boat and heading in the gully , been scoping google maps etc trying to suss out whether there's any decent flats or spots for a camp .

Any insight appreciated

It's pretty barren up the flats to be honest. A bit of sign about, chance of a deer or chamois

And the land on the true right is private.

Did the fire get down that far? Or only around Broken River?
