    Suppressor on 22 mag

    Hey team thinking about putting a suppressor on my 22 magnum. Would this improve sound reduction, and if so down to wot level. Your thoughts please. Ta.

    It takes the loud crack out of it. Noise Still there but worthwhile in my book.

    Definitely worth doing.
    Even a .22mag is enough to damage hearing.

    I have a suppressed 22 mag, it will take it down to 22 rim may be a bit below with out the crack.
    I should run an app decibel meter and see the diff, it may give an indication of the levels.
    But either way I like it supressed.

    I've actually got a good quality decibel meter I use at work. Never occurred to me before, but I think I'll take it to the NZDA Akl range next open day. Is that this weekend?

    When I had a 22mag I generally used it suppressed, was probably slightly louder than unsuppressed supersonic 22LR, but pretty similar.
