If it was on doc land it is fair game. No you cant get in trouble. Cant help with how tender it was. How long did it hang before butchering? What state was it in when shot?
As above.
A mate had a few get out a few years back, about 3 months later he got a ring from some guys who had shot one and traced it back to him.
It had gone bloody miles away threw prime habitat.

I gave most of it away to mates for Xmas and I'm gutted to here and find out it was tough . She was in good nic even a bit of fat around the Arss .Farm deer need longer?

Could be an old animal. Was it stressed before you shot it? Only things I can think of.

For the most part a deer fence is more of a psychological barrier to deer rather than a physical barrier. I have seen both stags and hinds under pressure clear a deer fence and have even seen a four month old fawn get close to going over on one occasion. They are also quite adept at digging, mostly under gates but fences also.
Yer it was but no kid around that's y I pull the trigger. I tryed cooking a piece when I got the news and yer tough. Would say she was stressed she was sitting under a tree and died where she layed . It was hung in my shed gir the night it wasn't na warn night and I've fine this be4 ?, could this be y? Or just every now and then u get a tough one?
Yep i have even seen a 3 legged hind clear deer fence quite regularly, but she was mad.
