Not if your like me . I've been applying for 10 years and only got one in 2016 and not got another one since. And the block we got in 2016 was the shittest weather you could ever imagine where I thought my life was in danger and we flew out early cause another bad front coming . Seems so hard to get these blocks I've been other times only when others have pulled out . Good luck

It's a cool block, I would very happily go back. You can glass plenty of animals from the campsite and have hunting opportunities both up and downstream. There is a tape track that takes you from the campsite up onto the "lake" and then the track continues down valley following the doc line past adverse creek etc. We could see some big bulls when we were there, way up the southern faces above camp. They were just so high up in vertical no mans land.

Changed my approach this year after a couple years of unsuccessful ballots. Organised a small crew of 3, applied for the less favoured blocks that people don't seem to apply for as rougher country and they want big hunting parties of six, and bingo, got one.

It was the quick and the dead this morning!
First up, great initiative by Doc to offer the left over ballot periods not initially taken to the ones who missed out on the ballot and not having to pay again but fuck me you had to be quick!!
Thought I had a decent chance this morning being at work in front of a computer driving my milk powder drier to get a block but by the time I had selected the one I wanted and filled out my information and clicked on procced I had lost it and then my second choice as well. 10 minutes later all remaining periods had gone as well!!
I'll just try again next year.

Picked up Teichlemann Creek 30th June. Would love to chat to those who have had it before. Happy to give info on Elizabeth which we had this year.
