Thread: Tahr Ballots

In light of the current culling I think I would be looking at areas that have plenty of cover so the Tahr have some places to escape. A lot of the lands bough has scrubby areas lower down so still could be good. I did read that DOC are considering using ground hunters in the scrub areas as the animals are hard to get using choppers in there.
It would be interesting to hear from parties that have hunted the ballot blocks this year to see how much damage has been done to the herds, anyone on this forum been in this year?
