    Tahr cull ammo supplier

Does anyone know who is the ammunition supplier for the tahr culls?
We should make it public so that we can make sure not to support them.

Also, which heli operators are flying the machines?

    Im sure someone would know.
If you can't kill it with bullets, dont f*ck with it.

Last time we managed to get a prohibition on the supply of ammo to doc by all the local suppliers.

I am sure even the govt has learnt that lesson and bought from a wholesaler over seas

Wonder if they filled out the mail order form correctly, useless pricks probably can't spell their name.

The Wanaka based helicopters were heavily involved in the last big cull in 2018

The Hanmer heli hunter is always involved, lives on the same road as us but have never met him or heard good things either

Do they have a firearms license to import ammo? Is it the banned restricted stuff? And do they even know the difference?

Rather than stop them buying the ammo, get the suppliers to send the wrong calibre / type....(you know, accidentally send 50 cases of Steel core FMJ that can be called "enhanced penetration" and make the Police seize it all at customs....I would almost pay to see nashi explaining to Sage why she cannot have her ammo for her cull.........

Apparently, under NZ law, all Govt departments are required to purchase ammo, or anything else for that matter, through a NZ agent. The NZ agents blocked them last time, for only so long. And they are required to use non toxic projectiles. But you can guarantee that any chopper operator that does WARO will have stashed away a good supply of ammo in case this happened again.

Have no idea any more, too far removed from the wholesale/retail sector now to have enough reliable info
