    Tahr cull doc betrayal

    https://www.pressreader.com/new-zeal...81857234275624

This was printed in todays odt.
Exactly why Eugenie Sage should never have become minister of conservation. A one sided conservationist extremist that is unwilling to liase and conduct management of Tahr in a reasonable and objective manner.
This type of action has undone any of the good relations the recreational hunter, Nzda, Game animal council and hunting guides association has had with Doc and will create very negative attitudes to an organisation that is funded by our own tax payer funds.

The blatant lies regarding the tahr population and breaches of the Himalayan Tahr plan is disgusting.

These are areas of high importance to recreational hunting.

Yup. Friggen deluded freaks that will shit on anyone and everyone for their pointless ideals.

Spend shitloads of tax payer money on destroying a potential resource that could bring shitloads of money into the country if they only used half a brain.

yup but ive said it before. DOC is full of the same like minded people. They will push their agenda to whoever comes in and as they should be the experts, they will probably be listened to. With Sage there I bet she just tells them to put whatever they have in front of here and it will happen.
DOC needs a cleanout as well.

There was a job vacancy for a Ranger in Twizel with "tahr management experience" posted on the DOC web site a few weeks ago !

I just checked and cannot find it under current vacancies.
In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when conserved by the sportsman. The excellent people who protest against all hunting, and consider sportsmen as enemies of wildlife are wholly ignorant of the fact that in reality the genuine sportsman is by all odds the most important factor in keeping wild creatures from total extinction.

Democratic process? NZ has lost it ; and it has been being steadily eroded for the past 25 years at least. Why the hell hunting organisations continue to "be nice" to DoC and TBFree beats me. The only groups that have displayed any fight against DoC's and TBFree / mpi over the past 20 years have been the anti 1080 poison lobby.

I think its disgusting to even have someone like her in power , how a fanatical party that barely kept a seat in office can somehow dictate what we do & how we live , those green bastards couldn't give two fucks about what the majority want , look at the coast they don't want people there , just keep taking the jobs away & when they do its not like they have a plan B for jobs they couldn't give a shit , so its no surprise they are now spreading more poison & culling animals , Rural NZ is going to get raped by Eugene & her big strap on .

Gonna be thrilling for all the hunters to have sfa to do except frolic around a maypole waving flowers and assisting all the pretty little DoC dollybirds broadcasting brodi and 1080. Oh yes, don't forget DoC wants to get rid of the naughty piggies suspected of spreading Kauri dieback disease , ffs! Never mind that the pigs have been around for over 200 years with no kauri dieback till recently. DoC pc propaganda has NZ gullible public by the nose. Extra fuel taxes etc will doubtless push the agendas along quite nicely.
