    Tahr head horn removal

    I remember seeing a video a while ago where the fella microwaved a tahr head for 20 or so seconds and the horns came off easy as, am I imagining i saw it, or does this really work? Because I cant find the video anywhere

    Yup, it works. Think it was a bit more than 20 seconds tho, just keep trying until they come off. Still gotta clean the skull after.

    Stops them shrinking up in the boiling drum, good for Chammy to !

    I also did my Klipspringer & Mt Reed Buck, it saves the horns a lot, couldn't fit the Kudu in there lol !

    Nice yea I boild the skull got most of the meat off, then chucked it in the microwave for 2mins then two blasts of 25 seconds and they popped off with a wee tug. Will do it again for sure
