Thread: Tahr hunter wanted...

Gidday, got the Adams Flat block, 4th period (12th-18th May). The guys I had lined up to come have had to pull out for various reasons...

So if someone is keen, let me know.

Wanting someone who has done a bit of tahr hunting in the past, and ideally, is keen on (and capable of) long range shooting. Doesn't mean that the hunt will be about long range shooting, just that I will be taking a LR rig, so if you turn up with a 303 and open sights you will either have to be a fast climber, or a crack shot if you are wanting to shoot anything big

I am no mountain goat, so you won't have to be a supreme athlete to keep up with me, but thats no excuse for being unfit (except if you are me...)

I am waiting to hear back from one guy (hopefully tomorrow) on whether he can make it.

Only thinking of 2 of us going in. Probably for the full 7 days, flying with James Scott. So you will be up for 1/2 the Heli cost plus 1/2 the food. I'm pretty well setup with gear, but thats something we can discuss later.

Could always cut my trip short by a day (i.e. fly out early on the 17th) if that would suit better? Talking with another member at the moment, but nothing confirmed, so if you confirm, it would be all go...

looks like i got beaten to it all good will be a good trip into there

year mate always keen, the big boys are hard to find at times but have couple goodish spots
