    Tahr vs Thar

    Took the squirt to Paradise valley in Rotorua today. She fizzed out on all the deer, goats pigs etc. didnt know the had a couple of tahr there. First glimpse of em in real life.

    Found this statement on the info board. Makes sense how so many spell it either way.

    If you're in Vegas for a bit longer drive around the mountain from there and go to the Wingspan Trust. My girls liked that a lot.

    Sweet will do that next, did drive past it is that the one where you can have the birds of prey land and take off from your arm?

    Apparently the miss spelling all stemmed from a government legislation that spelt it thar instead of tahr and it went from there. Its actually one of my pet hates when its spelt wrong, dunno why.
