    im guessing weta houses..looks to be hole half way up about right size to encourage them in...

    Definitely a Weta house as Micky Duck suggests.
    I suspect there is a sheet of clear plastic under the pivoting door so you can see them without any risk of chopping them in half when you close the door.

    Yep there is,they are mounted close to doc 200 box traps down by the bridge.

    Ain’t it weird that whenever someone says “down by the bridge”
    we all, in our own minds “know exactly where that is “
    Trout fishos are probably the best or worst at this.
    Or is my mind a little overactive and a dangerous place to be?

    I thought the title was a reference to Tree Trunk Gorge Rd, Kaimanawas well that was my natural assumption
