    Turere Stream - Rimutaka (Wellington)

    Hi Guys

    Anybody has been up hunting the Turere Stream entering from Hine Road end in Wainuimata. I see in the map that hunting is permitted in this area. Advise needed guys and any Welli Newbie wanting to join me for a look this long weekend (Sunday) is most welcome. PM me.

    initiaz you may find that people here are loathe to discuss particular spots because other people take the hard-won knowledge of where the animals are and shoot the area out.

    The idea is often to say you were at "spot X"

    The spots around Wgtn I have found that contain animals have taken a great deal of work on my part to locate so all I can say is good luck and if it's Wainui don't leave anything valuable in your car.

    Thanks 308. Have learnt another stuff from your good advice.

    I have found a new spot X... Wainui plan cancelled for the weekend.. Have something new planned as found a place that is granteed to reward...

    Will try and post success pics on Tuesday..

    Probably just as well. I dropped into the
    Turere from hine road and walked down to the Orongoronga. Waterfall city. Bit of an adventure really. Pretty sure there are deer in there but I didn't see any.
