Waikaia/Liethen Draw done!

HI Guys
I am just back from Invercargill DOC offices after helping them with the Waikaia and Liethen block ballot.
A few names i recognized, lots i didnt. 60 less entrants than last year, maybe because of the $11.50 charge? and only 3 or 4 difference in the Waikaia to Liethen numbers.
Something to remember for next year is that you will increase your chance by putting down March or April as we had allot miss out because they had just April down on the ballot when there was still room in March. Dunedin seemed very lucky this year with lots of winners coming from there.

Did I fill you in on our trip down there earlier this year to the old family block?

You did say you had been at one stage and found out some more but were keen to go back again to look further into it, so have you been twice now?

nothing in the mail yet, must take a while to write those hard luck letters.

isn't it strange that last year when it didn't cost anything to apply for a ballot block, that the results were out quicker than this year.

They are all probably sitting around getting on the Piss will the the money u guys have paid the will let u all no once the have sobered up due to no more Piss money haha :D

as expected no block in Waikaia for the roar this year, maybe next year will be the year. got to get one at some stage last time I got one was 2001.
