    Wairarapa hunting buddy?

Hi guys, I am fairly new to the forum and joined in hopes of finding another like minded people to go hunting with in the Wairarapa area.

If anyone might be interested let me know, I'm easy to get on with and have all my own gear but unfortunately none of my mates are really into hunting.

    Cheers.

I live in Upper Hutt and get out every now and then, mainly hunt the Wairarapa (born and bred there). Were you looking at hunting public or private. Maybe PM me and we can touch base at some stage

I have only hunted public land but would welcome the chance to hunt in a private area. I'll pm you my details and maybe next time you are over this way we can organise something together. Cheers

Hey, yea I have actually spent more time in the Ruahines than i have here in the Tararuas - all in northern end around the Makaroro and Waipawa rivers out from Onga Onga (was actually there last week but the wind was terrible had cut the trip short)
Next time i'm heading that way ill flick you a message. I have never been in the southern end of the Ruahines though so could be keen either way. Cheers

G'day, silent scope and initiaz. Wouldn't mind tagging along if you sort something out. Done most of my hunting on a private block but that has gone now so time to check out a few spots I've had in mind. Be good to catch up with you SS. TonyR

Hey guys looks like there is a good number of us who are all in the same boat. Perhaps we could sus a goat shoot meet n greet? My organising kills are pretty poor but maybe in the Rimutakas since some of you are over the other side of the hill. Feel free to chuck out any ideas and maybe what date could work best. I have wed-fri off but can always get a weekend off with a wee notice.

    What do you guys think?

I don't mind taking a handful of people for a goat hunt on doc land, maybe 5 at the max. Cant guarantee seeing or shooting anything though. Maybe camp out on a Friday night after work and up early next morning
