The great thing about hunting up top above the falls is that it is so flat without distinguishing landmarks that most people walk the tracks fearful of getting lost...ditch the gps, use a compass and walk 90 degrees either side of the track...you probably wont see another soul.
Deer numbers in the Kaimai's are high, judging by local gathered information. There has been very little rain and the streams are at a trickle, anywhere there is water will see the deer at both ends of the day.
Sounds good mate, will put the blaze on but good to know I can avoid the masses, I dont mind huntng the plateau. Will put a post up if I have any luck
