Hey guys, me and my mate are looking for a few places (if you will please help) for goats in the Nelson area. We are bow hunters and will be eating what we kill. Working out some of our own places, but would be nice to know more. Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, does anyone know the deal with going to hunt in forestry blocks (who to talk to)

Took her for a look this morning Rushy nobody home in the first light:( did find fresh sign of the stag and followed that in the frost for a bit no sign of the hind think someone may have shot her which might explan why the stag was off before the light.Quote:

Depending on area about now, my lawns have been going ape shit for a month but where we were spring is only just starting. Just the first fresh pick starting under scrubby trees where it gets some protection from frost but still gets light.
Thanks guys, as soon as I head that way I will give it a try. Any other ideas? Seems like there might be a few out near Rai, and Going to have a look up some of the rivers out by Richmond/Brightwater
