Only the core wilderness area blocks are closed to hunting before the ballot, Doon would be one of the more accessible blocks outside that area so it does get hunted pretty regularly. That said there's a lot of land in there and your chances will be a lot higher with more time in there and the possibility of stags making some noise

We've made our regular donation, no joy for us. Was excited about the potential of the 6 person block option this year, interested to know how many groups of 6 were successful?

Your 2015 Lower Glaisnock episode was extremely informative and definitely still the one to beat. - iv watched the full episode at least 6 times in the last 2 weeks haha.
