Anybody actually received a email yet? It's been over a week now. The foundation can obviously organize a piss up but seems pathetically slow on the ballot. I paid good money to enter and expect at least an email.

Chances are that it’s not a good sign bro! They’re pretty quick smart and emailing out whoever got a block but are generally a bit slower to flick out the unsuccessful email

Given there are about 500 entries in the ballot, it takes a lot of time and effort from the FWF (mostly volunteers) to process it all. I find your comments in this thread really offensive puddleduk

They are all volunteers. Ordinary people helping other people.
Restraint is the better part of dignity. Don't justify getting even. Do not do unto others as they do unto you if it will cause harm.

As far as I can figure out, if you win a block its clear that the ballot has been drawn and you a have a block. If you didn't draw it appears there is no change in the account. Would be nice to have an email saying yeah or nar.

It quite clearly states on the FWF website that emails will be sent out to successful and unsuccessful applicants. As well their facebook page said the results would be emailed out last week.......nothing so far. Simply not good enough in my books.
Also it seems there is a possibility the draw actually may have taken place the day before the the "live" draw. So does that mean it wasn't a live draw?
