WARNING - Dangerous side effect of "lockdown"

The Meth fuckheads at the bottom, mainly fund their habits by prostitution and burglary/theft in it's various forms, with the major proportion of workers now going to be at home, the burglary is going to become a home invasion, the working girls, parlor and street, and their handlers are going to have their income given a severe whack. Soft target options: wife stops at lights gets carjacked, goes to the supermarket/dairy/servo, gets blitzed when she gets out of car, or on return, same for anyone else that doesn't look capable.

These are people that will sell their children for their next hit, and their habits are not going away because the minister of crooked head sad faces and hajib covered hugs makes us stay at home.

From this point on, my wife goes nowhere unless she has me as top cover, over reaction?, feel free to poo poo, just sayin, look around you, develop situational awareness, be pro active, not reactive - and if you have do to be reactive, over react.

I would rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6. I see some bad juju ahead that aint the virus.

I live rural and don't even think we have a local cop at the moment. the poaching has got bad in the last month anyway and i can see it getting worse. I wouldn't be putting any prime lambs near the road at the moment or any good stock. Its hard to say how it will play out

You have to feel for builders with open building sites, they will steal what is easy, homes will not be majorly targeted it will be businesses, machinery and holiday homes

ther main thing apart from tools that gets stolen from building sites are copper pipe and electrical cable, then it gets chopped down to small lengths and taken to metal recycling plants. with all these going to be closed i dont know what they will pilfer. probably turn to home invasions instead

Hopefully the meth heads will target empty offices and businesses rather than occupied homes

Hopefully, with greatly reduced traffic on the roads the movements of crims will be more easily noticed AND reported by civvies as well as police.

Meth-heads will be desperate, and it is a threat that I take very seriously. Extra vigilance...
Drive around the parking lot and scout for trouble
Select a spot that is in clear view
    Travel in two's
One person unpacks groceries while the other scans for trouble
Stay away from the fringes of the parking lot
Park so you don't have to 3-point turn your way to safety
Consciously lock the car doors as soon as you enter the car.
Seat belts stay off until you're on the road (if hijacked, you want to be able to get our without reaching where your hands are invisible to a drugged-up attacker)
A wheelspanner next to drivers door may not be a bad idea... (A weapon, officer? No - I just forgot to put it back yesterday... )

The contraceptive effect of constantly having kids around may negate this to some extent...

It was just on the radio the trucking companys want assurance that they will be safe on the roads regarding hijacking. What has this country become.

Gangs probably already investigating opportunity in black-market goods and how best to gain monopoly status.
