As much as I would love to I have some catching up on bills to do after being off work crook last week with the flu so punching out as many hours I can in the dumptruck while the weather is mint, planning on going in a few weeks once I have got my shit sorted out
I have been thinking i am well overdue to check out a couple of spots for a while, thought i may get out this weekend but nope not going to happen.
maybe next weekend, even if just a morning.

Yep i am, just a quick morning hunt to a handy wee spot, check the trail cam and with a bit of luck bump into something.
I'm out for about 3 months:oh noes: But on the positive side should get a cheque in September:)
An old hunter that shot his last deer at 82 said dont put it off. Go right now. Tomorrow will turn inyo next week, next week will turn into next month, next month wil turn into next year.Before we know it our legs wont work like they used too, and we will end up staring the ceiling waitng to die (if your that lucky)[emoji106]
I'm away 2 /3 days next week end can't wait , have worked Saturdays for a couple of months now , and again tomorrow . Well overdue for a hunt . Hope weathers as good

Harvesting wheat, so no stalking till Friday then fallow bucks come in season.

It was bloody lovely up the hill on Saturday, a bit of sign about, heaps of images on the Trailcam, but i didnt come across the little buggers.

I did the Tongariro crossing, well sort of, did an offshoot to Oturere hut for the night and then retraced my steps back to Mangatepopo hut......away for 2 nights, needed my 'snow & ice fix'..........BRILLIANT weather....hunt planned in a fortnight!!!!!!!
