Gardens trampled , LAWNS damaged ..O deer , maybe someone needs to sight there rifles in a bit better or have our Capital hunters swapped there rifles for scrogen & cameras ...we simply don't have this sort of carry on around here...

Yep so what we do is we take our suppressed 9mm's out (in 3 shades of black) and put on our sharp suits (in the other 12 shades of black) then sit at our trendy Thorndon cafe and when we get our biodegradable macchiato cups lined up in an architecturally pleasing fashion we can use them as a bipod to pop off the huge reds that live in the town belt just behind the PM's residence

After we put the firearms away we get on our pointiest of pointy shoes (in the other shade of black that only Wellingtonians can see) and go see some utterly incomprehensible art show which speaks deeply to the yawning chasm between the soul and desire, all whilst sipping on a one-off keg brew of half-double-wheat-tinged-hoppy-black-IPA which has been flavoured with tincture of beard grooming oil

We casually mention to our friends that our bespoke artisinal homekill butcher will be smoking our venison with a new flavour he told us about last week called "Essence of Wanky Pretentiousness" which should blend seamlessly with the Elderflower oil and crushed Saffron that we usually favour

After that we pull on our black turtleneck jersey, jump into our diesel Citreon and get home to slip into our high thread count sheets next to our vegan wives

We have had deer in close to residential here in Nelson as well....the problem is not lack of hunters the problem is not legally being able to hunt them due to council land/forestry/private land/hand wringers that will call for the AOS at first sight of anyone who looks like a hunter etc etc.

Geeze Wellington’s changed since I was a lad! All we saw were, transvestites, fargots, Korean fishermen and a bucket fountain? Oh and once a year a bloody awesome Street Race! Eastbourne always been the place of fuel bunkers, wankers and private schools

Hell, There's a few rifle clubs around and a black powder club, and not to mention a archery club. I can just see me planting out my spuds in the garden, out wanders a stag, I ups with the Sharps, boom, venison hoy pot. Police report, 4 cars and a bus were knocked by a anti tank gun, suspect could be a mad gardener!!,, what!!, ME.

Interesting ...as a young fella growing up in Porirua we would hunt goats over eastborne way,and always get a few.....weren’t too many deer,but occasionally we would take one.Worked as a Shepard for ken gray on his grays road property,in pauahatanui,the one on pukerua bay,and the one up the ”piecock” Hill.......pigs,deer,and goats were always there.I would always take the 303 during any muster,as the dogs would always flush something out.

For anyone living in Whitby,back side of Porirua,behind Waitangirua,there used to be an old trig station up there,looking over the now police college,we would hunt that area (as it was still lands and survey stuff)and over to whitby for pig(4 legged type).....never had a problem getting any.That country over eastborne way has a,ways been good country for our introduced species,not surprised they are having issues.

They ate my bloody tomatoes last year after leaving them alone for thirty odd years. Plenty of deer around this year but I'm planting tomatoes in a different area this year. I hear poachers some nights up in the creek bed and bush above my house .

Lol that's when you want to stalk in after they have had a feed of your "tomatoes " they wont no whats going on

deer etc seem to creep in all around wellington. last pig I got was next door to my place in Karori-got a call from them to sort it out. Probably came from the forum's own docs place
