I like the 55+10, as you know the bisons are very robust packs, albeit a bit heavy. I also have the 48l Norrix I used exclusively as a day pack.

I purchased the 55l +10 specifically as a one/two nighter. I use the big Kuiu pack for longer trips where more gear is required, especially a tent.

I also use a bigger pack in the winter when I require a tent rather than a fly and more warm cloths and even over trousers etc.

In summary the 55l +10 would be good for you for shorter trips.

Truth be told, if I counted them all up, I probably have over 12 packs!
