How can you have a fear of riding in a helicopter if you haven't been in one? It is the ultimate way to get around. Safer than been a passenger in a car
Try a one way trip to the Boyd Hut (short flight) then walk back down to Oamaru Hut and back to Heli Sika. Tell the pilot of your concerns/fears and you will be hooked ;)
Struggling to find time for hunting this year. Off to Fiji next weekend for a week then in October down the SI on a tiki tour for 9 days. Throw in all the commitments at home and the year is almost over :oh noes: I have really missed hunting this year :(
My goal is to still be above ground sucking in air. Where in the Waikato are you Hunter308? Mohawk660 and I are heading bush to chase reds the weekend after this one and you would be welcome to join us. Could pick you up if you weren't too far of the beaten track. PM me if interested

Keep the 15 kgs I misplaced since xmas at bay.
But the most important thing to me is too help my son secure his first deer.
