    Whats up wi this Hare ?

    He's 'hare less'

    Can't add anything sensible other than agreeing with the above mange or similar and sure wouldn't be touching it. Be tempted to bury it so hawks / cats don't spread it

    Looks like a pregnant female to me. Those skin rubs on the head, are they from a gumboot or has the hare been stuck / caught up in something ? Female hares pluck their own fur to line a nest before they give birth which suggests that the hormonal change makes the fur easier to pluck / slip. I suggest it has got itself caught up and has been the victim of non consensual group sex or was beaten up by stock

    Jesus...."non consensual group sex". I'd have picked some sort of mange type deal but the sores look like it may have been stuck and getting dealt to well after the fur left the picture. Or a gnarly weekend in San Francisco

    Either way you helped it.

    Although rare, a Hare can catch RCD etc. Perhaps it is one of those rare hares? Not meant as a joke
