Subaru Legacy Gt Spec B 2009 | Trade Me

Rolling the dice, someone might get a bargain.

Nice car. Looking for a replacement for the Grand Vitara I just sold.
A cheaper car is good - what's your bottom line?
Looking at Volvos at present, if this is within my budget, would deal direct with you here - save you money paying TM.
Is this the chain drive cam engine?
If not, how's the cam belt holding up?
    Cheers.
PM me with your wish list price.

Not sure on the chain drive question. I'm going to let the auction do its thing so I guess $1 is my bottom line.

I'm not too worried about what it goes for in the end so you never know.

The 2.5 is an EJ motor which does have a cambelt, its the 6-cyl EZ that has a chain instead. On the older ones cambelts were due at 100k km, not sure if its the same for an 09 or a bit longer.

I'd be tempted to put a bid in if it was manual

Is 9.7L/100km typical of fuel consumption you would get?

Thats incredible consumption for a subby, my outback gets 8km/l at the best, 4km/l when I make the most of a 3.0 6 cylinder

My 02 Legacy GTB (manual 2.0 twin turbo, older model than Alonzos) averages around 9 l/100km on the open road, best I've had was 8.6 when I cruised a Timaru-Gore run at 100 instead of the usual slightly more (police driver persecution weekend). 11 or so pottering around town. Of course you can make it use more if you try, but you end up spending more on speeding tickets too!
