    12v 5a power supply

    Wanting to run a wiper motor off mains power and need a 12V 5A ac/dc adaptor. Old laptops should have them.

    Better off trying to find one 2nd hand, I bought a chinese 7a 12v psu for led lighting and it barely pushed 3a

    Get an old PSU out of a computer. Plenty of "how to" videos and instrucatbles on the web detailing the conversion. Probably get one for 1$ + postage on trademe.
