    17 cal cleaning kit

Hey guys I'm after a cleaning rod, jag, brush (prefer nylon) aaaand that should probably do it. I've got plenty of patches and solvent. It's for 17 hmr.

If anybody has one or any bits that would suite, surplus to requirements please let me know, my local clothing and fishing outlet has none in stock (I'd rather pay one of you gcs anyway).
    Cheers

I use the Otis pull through for my HMR, easy to take into the field as it’s a cable you can wrap up and pack away.
Outdoor supplies does a micro kit for $32, though Otis does use its own style patches.
Grouchy Smurf had it right all along...

Ah yes that looks like a good option.

I mainly wanted a cleaning rod because that's how I clean everything else and in the rare case of a "squib" you can use the cleaning rod to push the bullet back out again.

A "squib" ?! But how often does that happen? Well I'm on my third in three different rifles. I seem to have the worst yet best luck with them. The first one was in an SKS, it just happened to be the last round in the mag - incredibly lucky for me. The second one was my own stupid fault as I had stuffed up during a reloading session and skipped adding powder before seating the bullet. Again incredibly lucky as the bullet was only just in the rifling and did not allow another cartridge to be chambered.

Anyhow, I managed to get this one out of the hmr with some pieces of broken cleaning rod from the first time it happened

My mistake, no kits for 17 cal at all, was hoping to get the necessities sorted for $50 or so as that's how much the hoppes kits are.
