    18650s

    Anyone got a couple lying round? Got a couple of cheap lanterns of aliexpress and waiting to run them on 18650 not aaa, anyone got a few lying round they aren't needing? (have sent an email to terry, awaiting response)

    Yeah, noticed that some aren't, also monetised many are only good for 500 cycles

    Don't get hung up on that, they are the best batteries, and that is a more honest cycle count before you notice a significant drop in performance if you are draining them a lot.
