    1944 Inland M1 .30 Carbine

1944 Inland M1 Carbine (barrel is 6/44 from General Motors)
Rest of gun and both woods are IO stamped where they should be
Early push button safety. (Caught me out a few times by dropping the mag instead and i can see why they changed to the lever style)
Early mag catch (no suppourt for the 30 round magazines)
Rest of the parts match the earier types (type 3-4 if i recall correctly), but obviously had the rear sight upgrade at some point.
Cartouche on the stock, a bit rare to find.

This is not one of the GC imports, and as far as i can tell its as original as can be.
Though i did replace the slide stop spring. Fiddly bastard that was

Seems very accurate for an M1 Carbine, Have shot 20L spray containers at 300m. Bore is shiny and rifling is decent a lot of life left for sure.

1 average 7 rnd mag included.
    A Category.

    $1700

A real piece of war history that will always increase in value and collectability. 76 years old and still in great order.

Very nice. I owned a M1 about 15 years ago, and it was by far the most "fun" rifle I've played with.

The PoPo will give you $1750 for this now. That’s got to be one of very few success stories for the buy-up.

Yeah, but did they sell? Like anything, it’s only worth what people are prepared to pay. In this case, it’s a win for @Wingman who was going to settle for $1700...

They have had lots of people with decades of experience so its whoever is actually compiling the list in the police/govt is the issue. The list is all over the place some are high some are low.

Alot of the Inland ones were either early manufacture or had majority of its original manufactured parts still on it.
