    1989 Brno ZKK600 7X64

    Hey Guys

Looking to move along my beautiful ZKK as it is not getting used and would like to free up some funds for a new project.

She is an absolute stunner, great grain in the stock and cerakoted in midnight blue to match the original finish.

Unfortunately the stock split in the usual place on the tang but was repaired professionally by the Stock Doctor and refinished, action was bedded at the same time.
She shoots great with Norma Oryx 156gr factory loads as you can see in the pics, absolutely consistent in just under an inch. The one in the photos is 19mm.

When cleaning it up for cerakoting a small patch of pitting became evident under the barrel on the outside, tried to get a photo but not really visible under the cerakote.
Bore is mint, 1:8.7 twist so can happily shoot heavy LR bullets.

It is topped with a Nikon Monarch UCC Team Primos 3-9x40, glass is mint and tracks perfectly. Mounted in burris steel rings.
Also has JP gunsprings action screws, whole thing disassembles with a 6mm allen key.

While not an ultralight rifle she is pretty good for a walnut stock and medium profile barrel, certainly not heavy to carry up the hills.
Bought from Broncos Sports a few years ago and had original pack of ammo it was bought with, so if what they told me is to be believed it has only had around 45 rounds through her, but I can't say that without a doubt although the bore condition would indicate this to be close!

Will come with 100 RWS cases, about half once fired and the rest unfired. 25 once fired Norma cases and 35 loaded Norma 156gr Oryx factory rounds.
Has RCBS full length and seating dies as well as Hornady neck sizing die and shell holder.

Will chuck on Hoppes cleaning kit, boresnake and leather sling.

Looking at $1300 scoped or $1100 unscoped but open to reasonable offers.
Ask any questions, located in Tauranga area.

    Pics to follow.

    OK I have a question
How would this compare up against a .280 Remington?

7x64 and .280 are pretty much identical in performance.

    I would be very keen
Timing is not quite right a week before Christmas
And usually I'd offer a wife or chainsaw....but both are broken atm
Give it a few weeks and it might be a different story as it seems an interesting calibre
