Doesn't @gadgetman have one, my old man used to and they are a great wagon, worst issue issue was with a vertical windscreen (guess all vans are) they are a stone magnet, make sure you have insurance glass cover.

6k is probably a fair price depending on condition.

Yeah, we've had one since 02/05. 3.0 turbo, manual, AWD. Quite capable off road for what it is, plenty of traction, LSD in rear. Tows well. Coils in rear make the ride pretty good. Not looking at moving it on any time soon or long distance future. Keep the front tyres pumped up to avoid wearing the outer edge, known feature.

Depending on condition/km's could be worth quite a bit more. Ours is probably still worth what we paid for it with 94,000km on the clock.

This is selective 4wd hi low not full time manual hubs and 2.8 non turbo sorry should have added it's like the hilux of its age but a van I guess. Viewing obviously welcome test drives also . Over all I'd call it tidy no rust an honest dent on back qauter that has being pulled out and primed not hidden with bog biggest thing I forgot is it blew something 3 years and lost all its oil and has had a full engine rebuild with all receipts for parts and labour for any one intrested its sitting on about 15k engine ks since then

Imagine that ones with that low box are getting rare..... winch low box and a good set of tyres that's going to go some places. And with decent rebuild... $6k someone's going to be happy

If I had some spare cash I would buy it in a heartbeat.

That motor (engine code 3L?) 2.8 NA diesel truly is a die hard motor. Mine has just ticked over 404,000 genuine Km/s and just had a good healthy compression test, and the original injectors are all even and healthy as too.
I bet there wont be many Rangers etc getting that long in the tooth....

Mine has open front diff, crappy LSD rear diff and goes some pretty hard out places (standard ride height limited though)

Be a great buy for a camper, my pal just sold his camper version of this for $26k sight unseen to an Australian.

    Someone buy it.

311,000 kM/S sounds about right. Probably would be suspect if it showed any less than that for its condition.
