    1997 Pajero

After sixty years of driving I am hanging it up due to health issues. Sadly selling my 1997 Pajero SWB which I have owned for the last 18 years. This is a rere NZ new vehicle with 244000 kms. Always serviced with most records. Last three wofs were clear except for tyres. Has near new Bridgestone highway tyres. Mostly used in town except for a few years on a life style block. I owned one from :98 till 2006, thirsty beast with the aerodynamics of a brick but it could go some places! I ran it on 91 not the 96 they recommend and never saw any difference in performance. I liked the auto unlock front difs but the drivers door electric window always played up from time to time

I think you may have had the 3500 engine, Marty. 91 is recommended for mine and mileage isn't too bad. Mine has manual window winders as the NZ models were lower spec. The few times I used it off road it always went where I needed to go.

Yes 3500, sorry should have looked closer at the photos. Still was a good drive though. Used it as the farm hack for a while while the tojo was being repaired such fun!
