2.5x or 3x straight tube scope

I started another vintage rifle re build today
Made lots of progress and will pick up the reamer Friday and it should be ready to go bang with proof loads this weekend

I have decided I might scope it with a low power straight tube what ever I can find type scope

Like a Lyman Alaskan 2.5x or similar

I don't want to put a modern scope on it because the action is from 1873

Anything similar considered that is still clear to view through and has some adjustment
1" preferred but have 7/8th mounts also

Yes something like that K3 would be ok if it was clear
But he isn't talking it up so its likely as rough on the inside as out

Have an old school 2.5 Kahles here that I might be tempted to part with.

Probably not old enough for what you want, but I have a Kilwell Gamekeeper 2.5 x 20 sitting in it's box

Not sure if fitting, but ive got this old scope kicking about, in reasonable knick for its age could use a reblue though. Glass is fine. Dont know much about it, but i think its tube is smaller than 1", i have the other part of the mount somewhere too from memory goes onto a dove tail.

Cigar...I like that very much, will fit any long action perfectly and plenty of wiggle room to get eye alignment correctly...awesome for a bush scope.

I have one of these already and they were a 22rf scope
My project would likely destroy it in one or two shots !
