2-7 or 3-9 Reasonable quality scope

    Hi all,

Recently nabbed a steal on a .243 Savage 99 and wanting some reasonable quality glass for it. By reasonable quality - I'm thinking Vortex Diamondback and above. It'll be a reasonably short range affair - we'll see how accurate the Savage 99 is.

I've got a 2-7 Vortex Diamondback but I put it on my partners .22 and now I'm not getting back.

Anyone got one (I'd even consider a rimfire version as I can swap). Also interested in Zeiss Terra (there are a few on Trademe but I'm a bit suspect on them as the original photos were all wrong for model and no pictures of actual item).

Anyway you get the gist - what have you got sitting around of this or similar ilk?

Rubber monkey have 2-7 diamondbacks for around the $350 mark at the moment. Maybe check them out?
Didn't realise they were so cheap. $350 is within budget the Vortex Diamondbacks always seemed like good value for a cheaper scope to me. I have scopes worth 10x the amount and still appreciate them.
I'll wait to see what else is around. Kinda like the idea of a Zeiss on the Savage but if not I'll grab one of those. Thanks @Teos79

All sorted thanks guys - a good bastard had a Zeiss
I may be buying a new scope for the 10/22 with those Vortex DB rimfire versions being so cheap though...

@Teos79 It's good to know that Rubber Monkey is legit. I always see them come up and have been wary....
