I have an Anshutz CIL 111 single shot that might interest you

It’s accuracy at 100 yrds has suprised me

I posted a thread on it here called

“ Rabbits and the long range Anshutz”

Be patient before you do anything with your BSA. It can be made compliant so dont rush into handing it in yet.

I emailed the arms office to see if I would be able to pin the magazine. They said 'it is our understanding that you are not allowed to modify the firearm. I then asked if I could get a gunsmith to cut down the magazine to 10 and they said that they are asking the question to the head office in wellington.

Dont draw attention to yourself. They now know you have a non-compliant firearm. Guess what they will be coming for ?

Ive considered all sorts of stuff, but considering i bought the rifle for $170 at a gunshow, i dont really want to spend a hell of alot of money on it.

Its just so annoying because the rifle is alot of fun and in really good condition.

    Two things.

    1. Don't fret about your BSA just yet. There is plenty of time, and it can be easily modified without any damage if needed.

    2. Don't EVER ask the Police anything unless you are seeking a negative answer! Only the written law matters. Police opinion is completely irrelevant.
