    .22 Target rifle wanted.

Well, my daughter has me interested in target shooting again.
Her club has an indoor bench rest setup for us old farts who have trouble getting down on the floor now. Scopes too! Wahoo, now I can see the target again.
I would like 'something' with heavy barrel, etc (a genuine target rifle please).
Martini action or single shot bolt action is fine.
Can be with scope or not (but don't know what scope power would be best...12x, 24x, ?).
Shooting at the 25m range (gotta look after us oldies).
Don't have thousands to spend so a late model Anschutz is outside my pay-grade.
    Thoughts/ideas/offers?
    Thanks.

I picked up one on trademe recently for about $300. There are a few that show up there from time to time.
Dead eye dicks have a BSA 22 martini for $450 that seems to have been there for a couple of years. I can't attach the link but it's on their website under rimfire rifles.
Why not give them a call?

there seems to be a few russian target rifles around at present . Not the prettiest but they shoot well for not a lot of money.
Be more involved and less impressed.

I suspect that getting a 10/22 to shoot like a target rifle will exceed the budget, and will have no original ruger parts on it

The old bsa as above is a great option if you want apture sights they are very accurate and cheap if you are on a budget
If you want a scope a cz (heavy barrel model) if you’re on a Budget
Or if you have the cash a 10-22 theres people out there that think you can take a factory 10-22 and with a few basic at home mods can turn it into a target rifle these people or ether Deluded or dreaming you can improve it yes but turn it to a target rifle no
For a proper 10-22 target rifle you need to spend 1400+ on aftermarket parts
Or 2k plus on a factory custom like a kidd a full custom 10-22 will compete with even the best bolt action rifles this is comeing from someone that’s owned 20+ 10/22 rifles rangeing from the $450 most basic models to the factory custom kidd rifle and everywhere between

Obviously bolt action options are pretty much endless if you have the cash

Thanks guys, have replied to a few of you.
Looked at Dead Eye Dicks (thanks @Manchester), but probably not.
No front sight (even though I'd be scoping it).
A bit too dear for what it is. But you are on the right track though.

Can't blame you. I thought the same. I got lucky with a bsa martini 22 with a vx2 scope on it delivered for $300.

And I got the front and rear target sights. The rabbits aren't keen on it for some reason
