    223 Golf Ball Launcher 1/2x28

Threaded attachment that fits on to your rifle to launch golf balls
    Fits 1/2x28 thread.
Was for an AR that was sold in the buyback.

    Comes with steel launcher
An unopened box of 50 blanks
    about 50 golfballs

Google golf ball launcher, it looks like fun. puts them about 100 meters down the paddock.
    $200

Dads selling up, he doesn't want to renew his license as since the stroke, his mobility is limited
Prefer pick up in Rotorua or Tauranga.
If youre not local and know someone local who can inspect, collect and post for you....cool, If they have a FA, its game on.
Can post with proper paperwork but may be delayed as shift work makes it hard to get to town

If you can't beat them, beat them.
They will be expecting you to join them, so you'll have the element of surprise.

I hit the golf ball 240M down the paddock with my driver. I think that works better than the launcher. haha..... good laugh though with the louder Bang !!!

so you launch the ball down the paddock...then proceed to shoot it with your normal rounds....hell of alot of fun with .22lr,the .223 would be next level.

I'm obviously out of touch here......you launch the ball down the paddock and then use it as target practice? Right? Do I have it so far?

But why do you need an expensive add on device to launch the ball when you could borrow a club off a mate or pick up a second hand one in an op shop for $30 ......... it's not as if we are practising for a Master's against Tiger Woods et al........or am I really missing something here?

    Cheers
    Phil

same reason I own more than one rifle - because I can and don't need to justify it if it something I want rather than need and what lee308 said it does it with a bang!

Make yourself a proper cannon by using hydraulic deck lift sleeve ram thingy and ‘rounds’ of baked bean tins full of concrete. Saw one years ago. It was fired into a pumice bank and made a hole so deep, the owners arm could not reach the back of said hole.

I wasnt suggesting that this is what this particular device was made for....just a possible use for it.....you should try .22lr golf sometime, its fun if you can keep track of where the ball ends up,so you can hit it again.

I probably came across wrong there @gonebush. I wasn't seeking justification or passing judgement.....I was merely seeking clarification in my mind what it was and how it is utilised......and yes, anything that is safe, legal and goes with a bang most definitely has an element of fun.

    Cheers
