    260 sako 85 in carbonlite stock

    Sako 85 260 rem
    Carbonlite stock
    Waitaki 20moa rail
    Dpt magnum 1/2-20 suppressor
    Fired around 250 rounds
    100 piece of once Fired lapua brass
    100x 143 eldx
    Limbsaver slip on was on the stock when I got it. No pad under it.

    $3850


    Weight is 3.6 kg as it sits Scope suppressor etc. Less bipod.

    5k with Scope and rings. And another box of 143s

    Sorry mate rather leave them with the rifle and iv got about 5 6.5 cal rifles to use them with as well. Trade Me or wtb add here. Ask your local for some in the next shipment.

    @veitnamcam I'm pretty sure it's S/s mate, rifle is a 85 hunter and brought a 243 carbonlite for the stock.

    Try a magnet on it, even a fridge magnet will do. The magnet will stick to stainless steel but not aluminium (not sure if that applies to all aluminium alloys though).

    Magnets shouldnt work on proper stainless either, depends on its make up, but proper stainless has no iron, therefore not magnetic

    Don’t know who told you that but it is totally incorrect - stainless STEEL is a name given to ferrous alloys containing approximately 11% or more of chromium, but they are still steels and therefore also comprised of iron and carbon.

    Sorry you are correct re iron, not all magnetic though?

    Google says most, but not all, stainless steels are magnetic.
