    270 dies & projectiles.

I have a mate that wants me to reload some bombs for his 270, so after a set of dies & some decent 20-400yard "killing" projectiles if anyone has something would be much appreciated.

PS- Yes I realise how stupid this guy is, a 270 & me doing his loading but he's a good bugger so want'a help him out

Hey Phil I have here a Lee three die set, FL sizer, Seating die, Crimp die (make good fishing sinker) and a 270 win quick trim die. Also have 130vld hunting 61 left in the box. Even got some prepped and cleaned (unprimed) brass. Interested?

I saw the title and who posted it and thought "shit, whats going on here". To many paint fumes?
If you really want to up the performance of a 270, half fill the case with shotgun powder, pack a layer of cotton wool in, and then fill it up with shot gun pellets. Melt a drop of wax on the top to keep the pellets in. Streets ahead of the original load.

Just in case paint fumes are the problem, don't really try this. These measurements are quite precise and need to be worked up to carefully.

You would be pretty disappointed trying to achieve the world famous 270 pinhole that everyone seems to talk about using shotgun pellets

Probably no more disappointed than if I was reduced to using a 270.
