    2x vintage scopes

Was meant for a vintage sniper project but have got them lying around for so long, I'm unlikely to proceed with either but quite reluctant to let them go but it has to be. As you can see they are still clear and useable plus the retro factor which is awesome.

    1) CARL ZEISS rifle scope ZF 6 / S with reticle # 1 / Made in Germany
Model with alloy tube and dove tail and diameter 38 / 28 / 42,5mm, length 27,5cm / 10 3/4'' Good condition mechanically and optically with blue tinted lenses . The optic and sight is clear and bright. Such rifle scopes were on the SSG 82, (installed on the sniper rifles of the DDR ). Measurements are approx but I used a 30mm ring with an insert as I couldn't find their original mounts. $250 posted, rural extra

2)Vintage GERMAN rifle scope CARL ZEISS JENA ZIELVIER, ( 4 x POWER ) with reticle # 1 = three post, see picture of this reticle. Model with alloy tube and dove tail and diameter 36,5 / 27,5 / 39,5mm, length 27cm / 10 1/2''. Elevation adjustment and focusing work well. Measurements are approx but I also used a 30mm ring with an insert as I could'nt find their original mounts. Speckles on the bottom half of the scope but it doesn't affect me, your mileage might vary. $200 posted, rural extra

These are excellent scopes, back in the 70's and 80's Brno sold a number of rifles in to NZ with a 4X similar to the ZF6, mounts were windage adjustable, turrets were for elevation and focus. If somebody could track down one of those Brno's, it shouldn't be too difficult to mill up a mount to fit a rifle. Good luck with the sale

BTT all offers considered. Medium height rings is all that's required to use these scopes on rails or weaver mounts.
