    303 parts needed

    Hey team,

Im on the scrounge for parts for other forum members, i get a lot of requests to the website i run for parts that people need to restore their old Lee Enfields and also through this website.

One such is for the extractor spring on the bolt head for a No4, even an old bolt would be more than needed, the other is a foresight protector for a No4.

I am more than happy to act as intermediary and pass on any details, i am not into making any money out of getting people restoring their Lee Enfields. I am just keen to help.

so if there are any old parts sitting around please let me know

    thanks

I will contact the guys and see how they are going on with the parts they need.

Cheers re the comments for the website, ive a bit of work to do on it, ive a couple of great articles that others have written but i cant seem to get the text to display properly on the site, so it may be a case of re-writing them.....which may take a bit of time.

Im even working on a project with a bloke who has a CNC lathe mill thingy (you may see that im not that clued up on these wonderous tools!!!) that may be able to start making repro parts here in NZ for the old girls. Which would be great.

Send me a picture, more than happy to tell you what wonderful piece of history you have, or there are a couple of reasonably good Lee Enfield reference sites out there

Moonhunt, you have a SMLE, (No1 MkIII*) a great old rifle, however Pointer was after a bolt for No4 if i remember right, a later variant.

do you need the whole bolt or just a part of the bolt, I may have a few bits I could part with not 100% sure they are for a #4 though as all my 303 parts are mixed up in one ammo tin.
