    .405dia x 400grain projectiles

    Anybody got anything in this size or know a source, have some .411 dia but struggling to size to .405.

    Long shot but try shooter nz. I might have some .4 round ball in my lead pile if thats any hellp.

    You can get reducing dies to take the projectile down in diameter. Not sure exactly who makes them, but I have seen some threads on other forums with people doing it with jacketed projectiles.

    We are making our own, had a bit more success this morning, now undersized but opening up the second stage and trying again, think we might be winning

    Yep there will be 75 grains of "that white stuff" sending that projectile down the spout!!
    We have another success
    Now if I can get the case into the chamber Ill be happy, old firearms test your imagination at times, full length sizing and a bit of dowel to tap it in with and yahoo, I hope

    400gr is very heavy for .40 cal, have you considered sticking two 200gr projectiles together?
    More meplat, more better.

    Yep stumbled across one with two barrels, sxs. Need to shoot it! Think I’m nearly there, A .411dia projectile hurtling down a .405 dia barrels is a big scary!!
